Saunas in Europe are a good place to experience and practice social nudity. I went to 2 Saunas in Amsterdam last week. Clothing is not allowed in the pools, Steam Rooms, Hot wooden rooms. I went to mix gender sauna where you find men and women from ages 18 to 70. The Dutch , Germans and Austrians…
Concur with the previous poster. I’ve spent a lot of time in European saunas, as recently as two weeks ago. Everybody is naked, and you see everything from friends (same and mixed gender), co-workers (same and mixed gender), family (husband and wife, brothers and sisters, brothers and brothers, sisters and sisters, etc.) going to the sauna together. Even though everybody is naked, it’s as much of a family environment as going to the ballpark, it’s not a sexualized environment at all.
My dad spent some time overseas during his military career and he said the same thing. It’s always made me want to at least go visit, if not move to, Europe. The freedom and acceptance of nudity is how I want to raise my children.
